I'm being very ambitious but I want to run an Aces campaign this year. I needed a mercenary company to do that and here we are. These are the five extra I needed to paint after I posted that first group 2 months ago.
And then here we are with the three finished lances.
Red is my favorite color and this is my favorite lance. A Wolverine, Thunderbolt, Cyclops, and Shadow Hawk.
I liked the idea of the Blackjack, Rifleman, and Warhammer being like the 3 bears and the Victor is just along for the ride. These are three different versions of the same paintjob. I did the Rifleman a few years ago, tried to match the Warhammer to that, and refined it on the Blackjack and Victor. I tried to go back with some touch ups to get them all to match but didn't quite pull it off, especially on the Rifleman. The final blue recipe is VMC Medium Blue, GW Agrax Earthshade wash, reapply base, and highlights with VMC Andrea Blue.
