*I worked on this at the end of 2024 but never got around to posting it.
Some 15mm sci-fi models by Alternative Armies. I was excited about Eternol / Void Horizon when I bought these and I had a good time painting the infantry. When I based them the first time I was very unhappy with the result and it was super tedious. It really soured the whole project for me even though I was eventually able to salvage the bases. The gorilla-mech took me months to come back to which was a bummer and I never managed to finish the tank.
I could come back to this I guess but I don't have a vision for the project or really ever a plan to play the game. A disappointing end for this but I lost my way and haven't felt a reason to keep working on it.
Basecoats of Vallejo Metal Color Gunmetal Grey, Vallejo Model Air Anthracite Gray, VMC Light Green, VGC Bonewhite, VMC Andrea Blue, VMC Basic Skin Tone, and VMC German Camo Pale Brown. They were washed with Pro-Acryl brown wash and then the green and lenses got highlights.
The base was Folk Art Raw Sienna, Folk Art Camel, and a wash of old-style GW Reikland Fleshshade. The bits on the base were Vallejo Metal Color Exhaust Malifold, Vallejo Model Air Pale Blue Grey, and VGC Khaki that were washed with GW Agrax Earthshade.
