I started this project right before my surgery in February and kept at it through the spring. I even got to play two games with Alex! I didn't have a plan for any of these when I was building them and I wasn't precious painting them.
These are my favorite bunch. They're weird and take about 30 minutes to paint and I just love the bright green samurai armor.
These were the first group I built and they don't have the strong visual unity that the green samurai do. They also take longer to paint and the flags didn't turn out like I'd hoped. They're still great and I'm happy I tried out the horse and rider.
A little extra note for the two wizards. These bashes came out really well - great poses, cool visuals, and the fake OSL in their eyes worked great.
Not sure that I'll come back to this project. I had thought about painting a cannon and crew for the samurai but lost the motivation.
