Alex and I played a game of 5th edition 40K! My first since 2009 when 5th edition was the current rule set. He played Tyranids and I was using my Lamenters. We played at 400 points and didn't use a scenario, we just smashed armies together and counted up who had the most points still alive after 5 turns.
We got a lot of rules wrong, had to look at the book and reference sheets a ton, and had a blast. I lost pretty badly.
I'm hoping to have at least the bikes painted the next time we play but maybe also the Razorback if I can figure out how to get a consistent yellow on something so large.
