Not having any more Lamenters to paint right now has been really great news for my Khador project, which has been sitting neglected for about 3 years.
There's so much nostalgia in these. There was a time when the Butcher was the best model I had ever painted. Strakhov was the first 'caster I bought when they were released. And Zerkova was my favorite character in the Warmachine setting.
These aren't my best work but I think they came out really well. The reds on the Butcher and the manhunter are the same as the Widowmakers. But on Strakhov and Zerkova I left the AK Wine Red as the base and highlighted with AK Blood Red but didn't add a final highlight with orange.
I still have a Kodiak and Spriggan that need paint, plus some Kayazy eliminators that I probably won't paint. I'd love to add the Great Bears and maybe the Kayazy underboos.
